Elegantly carved tribal stool attributed to the Oromo people of Ethiopia. Simple but timeless, this stool has a deep, concave surface supported on three splayed sculptural legs. Carved from a single block of hardwood and finished with a warm patina. 

The Oromo are a very ancient race who have survived as a community of people for thousands of years in East Africa. They constitute the single largest ethnic group in Ethiopia.
